Virginia Beach – Bonnie Kay Higgins, 66, passed away on May 2, 2017. Born in Rensselaer, IN to James and Eva Martin who both preceded her.
Bonnie was a member of Azalea Garden Church of God and was a current member of Freedom Fellowship.
Survived by her husband of 47 years David Higgins Sr., son David Higgins Jr., four grandchildren Nethaniel, Crystal, Christina and Elijah Higgins, two brothers John and Jerry Martin.
Special friends who have been by her side through it all are Pastor Aubrey and Marian Maye, and Marshall and Sylvia Washington, and those who have visited her and brought food.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 13th at Freedom Fellowship, 836 Regency Dr., Va Beach with Pastor Rick Hocker as the lead officiator. Followed by a repass.
Donations are to go to Treasured Memories, www.tmcfunding.com. Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family.
