VIRGINIA BEACH – Buford Glenn Wilson, 81, of the 800 block of North Plantation Drive passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 3rd, 2011. He was a Korean War veteran and retired from the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nelda J. Wilson; 3 sons Mike, Steve, and Tom; and 2 daughters, Debbie and Diane. His passions were his 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He also loved golf and his Washington Redskins.
A Memorial service will be held at Plaza Baptist Church on Rosemont Road on Saturday at 2pm. The family will receive friends after the service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cremate.org.
