Carla Rosser Kidd passed away on July 22, 2023 in Virginia Beach, Virginia after a long battle with rheumatoid arthritis. She was born on February 9, 1957 in El Paso, Texas to the late Virginia Vaughn Rosser and Major Lewis Allen Rosser.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Miles Kidd; sisters: Betty Mozingo and her husband, Bill, Sheila Sands and her husband, Sandy, and Robbin Rosser; nephews, Trey Mansfield (Stacey) and Ian Taylor; and lifelong friends, Beverly and Rodney Kestner and Nancy and John Ruszas. She will also be missed by her many adorable cats who lived in her and Miles’ home.

Carla graduated from Lake Taylor High School and earned an Associate Degree from Tidewater Community College. She worked with disabled children, was a certified wildlife rehabilitator, and volunteered at many Virginia Beach cat rescues. She was a longstanding member of New Heights Fellowship in Norfolk, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Devotion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to New Heights Fellowship at 1251 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, VA 23502.
