Carol Dawn Coryea, 61, of Suffolk, VA, passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2024, surrounded by her family at Obici Sentara Hospital.  She was born November 21, 1962 in Tupper Lake, NY.  Carol was the daughter of the late Maurice and June Coryea.

Carol’s pride and devotion always laid with her children, grandchildren, and family.  She loved the Adirondacks of NY and views of the mountains.  Carol enjoyed the Fall and driving through the mountains during the season, to see the leaves change.

Carol had the privilege of meeting, spending time, and snuggling her first Great Granddaughter, Kahlani Amares, who joined our family December 6, 2023.

Carol was predeceased by her brothers Tom, Gene, and Fred; Survived by siblings Carrie, Anna, Clifford, Maurice.   She is survived by her children Roger (Lori), June (Luke), Dawn (Rick), Cliff (Jamie), her grandchildren Avery, Mekenzie, Richard, Alexander, her great granddaughter Kahlani, and numerous other family.

There will be no public services at this time.
