Carolyn was a gracious woman, who cherished her Lutheran faith and was active in her church. She loved creating small flower gardens and could always be found enjoying them on her patio. She loved the outdoors. Her favorite indoor activity was caring for her best buddy, Britches, her cat.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Douglas, 61; her daughter, Vicki, 59; her sister and her brother.
A memorial will be held in Spring 2021, at her church, St Stephens in Plainfield, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, I ask that you plant a flower or a tree in her honor or make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
The Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News is handling the arrangements.
