Virginia Beach- Carolyn J Larson, 61, passed away peacefully May 12th at 11:12am at SPAH. She was a devoted wife and mother of two.
Carol devoted her life to her family and her friends. She was always there for anyone in need and found her true calling as a caregiver and registered CNA.

Carolyn J Larson was born on April 16,1956 in Norfolk, VA. She was the daughter of David and Irene Ziegenfuss.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years Donald R Larson, her two sons Eric Lee Sinchongco, and Donald M Larson; and siblings Frank Ziegenfuss, Kay Crow, Theada Tolbert, Helen Colman, Karen Sirneck, Doug Tatro, Russell, Jud and Jim Kern along with many friends and acquaintances.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held Sun 5/21/2017 from 6-8pm at the Aspen Apartments Tennis & Racquet Club, Va Beach. At Carolyn’s request, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

To my dearest childhood friend I will miss that sparkle in your eyes, your smile and your laugh...yes that laugh I will miss no matter how far apart our paths took us we knew we could always call each other and talk about our life events. Now you truly are that free spirit. Donnie, Eric, Don Michael, may the angels wrap their wings of comfort around you and your family during this sad and difficult time. May the celebration of her life and memories always bring love joy and peace to your heart. And Carol you know I never say goodbye so until later my dear friend ❤ love you

I have so many great memories of Carol coming over to the house and goofing around. Prayers to the family. R.I.P friend. Love you always!

I shall miss and love you always, Carol. My deepest sympathy to Donnie, Eric and Don Michael, Mindy and Frank and the rest of her family. She fought a valiant fight and loved her family so very much. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Carol was a true caretaker. She showed so much kindness to Mom and me. Even though I didn't see her often, I will miss her.

To the family and friends of Carolyn Larson I offer my sincere sympathy. Yes cancer is a terrible disease and hopefully some time in the future greater things will happen through research.
