To my family: as we all begin to process the fact that Chuckie ("Dad", "Uncle Chuckie", Pop-Pop") is no longer with us, I want to share something I read today: "I can't promise to be here for the rest of your lives, but I can promise to love y'all for the rest of mine". God bless my family - I love y'all and will continue praying for God's grace to cover us as we get through this and beyond.

There are a couple of memories that come to my mind immediately when I think of my uncle: 1. How he would always say "I love my nieces to pieces!" when he was around his nieces. I especially remember this when Starr, Chyna, Kiki, and I would visit as kids 2. How he never had a problem with us jumping on the huge trampoline he kept in the backyard, even when my mom didn't love the idea 3. How one time he deep fried a turkey in his backyard. I don't remember the occasion, time of year, or anything else about that situation, but I do remember him in that yard with a deep fryer and a lot of popping grease LOL 4. How he cracked a lot of jokes, and was still very much a big brother in that way with my mom <3 Rest in peace, Uncle Chuckie! Love you!
