Hampton, VA - Charles Eugene Price, 88 years old, passed away on November 25^th, 2022. Charles was born in West Virginia and was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Price Crowder; his son, Dick Price; and his brother, Carl Crowder.

Charles was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Charles was retired from the United States Air Force, having served for twenty-eight years. He enjoyed hiking, running, playing horseshoes, playing baseball, and watching old movies. He also read his Bible every night at 8 pm.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Price; daughter, Terri Modrell; son, Bryan Price and daughter-in-law, Debbie; daughter-in-law, Fran Price; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Lorene Kelly; and many special nieces and nephews. Thanks to all of our friends who helped us in many ways. A special thank you to Barbara Burton, Monty Montgomery, and Traditions Health Hospice Care staff for all they did to help during his illness.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society located at PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741; Shriners Hospitals for Children located at 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607; Immanuel Baptist Church located at 69 Saunders Road, Newport News, VA 23601.
