Charles G. Crovatt

Virginia Beach – Charles G. Crovatt, 88, died on November 11, 2016 in his home.

Charles Crovatt was born on a small farm near Jacksonville, FL. He graduated from The University of Florida in Business Administration and worked in the telephone company and later with Dun and Bradstreet in Richmond, VA. The family then moved and Charles became a hospital comptroller and assistant administrator in Nashville, TN and Montgomery, AL. He then accepted the position of Administrator of a hospital in Harrodsburg, KY. He was also the Administrator of Nursing Homes in Lexington, KY and Virginia Beach, VA. He became a Management Consultant specializing in Construction Credit in Tidewater VA. In later years, Charles enjoyed his favorite job of managing a T-Shirt printing shop at the oceanfront. Since retirement, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling.

Charles will be lovingly remembered by the “Light of his Life” for 63 years, Alma and his children, Susan (Chris), Linda (Gene), Janet and Anne (Bill). Charles will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren: David, Ben, Joe, Kate, Shannon and Brian. And, by his sister, Jane Gupton and sister-in-law Helene Pate and their extended families.
