He is survived by his wife Marie Maxwell of 27 years; 2 stepsons Greg and Keith Taylor; 2 brothers Ben and Jerry Maxwell & Jerry’s wife Christine; one sister Lola Bellotte; 2 brothers in law Tommy & wife Faye Grant and GT Grant; 3 sisters in law Connie Leitch, Shirley Blake and Francis Driver; 3 grandchildren Aaron Taylor, Amber Taylor and Clay Taylor; 4 great grandchildren and the apple of his eye Dominic Everett.
A memorial service, with casual attire, will be held Saturday, May 24, at 1pm at Olivet Christian Church, 14425 Old Courthouse Way Newport News with Pastor David Willis officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church. Cremation Society of VA is in charge by his request.
