Cheryl Ann Warren began her journey in life on September 10, 1954 in Granite City, Illinois. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She touched many lives, and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at various nursing homes in Virginia and Florida, she was given the opportunity to touch many more. Cheryl is survived by her husband- Paul Warren whom she married on March 16th, 1984; sister- Della Copeland; daughter- Carol Madigan; Sons- John Jr, Will, and Ray Tieskotter; nine grandchildren-Don, Jon, Rebecca, Stephanie, Austin, Gabriel, Madison, Aryana, and Morgan; and six great-grandchildren. Sherry, as she was known by friends and family, began her toughest challenge when she was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. She approached this like she did life saying, “I’m not going to let this stop me, The good lord will take me when it’s my time”. With a smile and a laugh she battled on. After two and half years of smiles, laughs and many prayers, the lord decided it was time for her to move on. Her second journey has begun on May 16th, 2012.

An even shorter 9 years, guess the time feels closer when you think of loved ones.

She was my strength, my anchor, my friend. If I needed something she was there. To know her, was to love her. Quick to help, even quicker to forgive. She was my gauge for what was right. Now she is my beacon, my light house. She will guide me thru troubled times and show me the way home. She will always be with me, and I will always miss her. I love you MOM.

Sherry, Words cannot say how much my heart was broken when I got the call to come to the nursing home and they told me that you had passed away. I know that you are no longer in pain and that you are with Jesus. Thank you for being their for me when I need you. You always had a smile and a gentle touch. I will miss you. Love always Paul

Cheryl, Always said I was Her Sister After Linda Passed Away. I Loved Her for saying that And I could not have Wished for a Better Sister.We Both Talked about Linda and Shared a lot of Memories. I am going to Miss them Both. I know they will save Me a Place up in Haven.I was very Blessed Knowing them Both. Love, Shirley
