Christopher “Chris” Wayne Woolwine, 61, of Virginia Beach, passed away on November 21, 2024. A passionate guitarist and beloved local musician, Chris brought joy to many through his music, often performing with local bands and sharing his talent with the community. His devotion to his craft was a trademark of his life.
In addition to his musical talent, Chris was a gifted carpenter who poured care and creativity into his projects, crafting meaningful gifts for those he cherished.
Chris is survived by his parents, Wayne and Rita Woolwine; his three daughters: Amanda Duani (35), Missy Woolwine (30), and Hannah Woolwine (26); his siblings, Eric Rowe and Pamela Woolwine; and his adored grandchildren: Clara, Ryder, and Benjamin.
Known for his spiritual nature and Christian beliefs, Chris embodied kindness, thoughtfulness, and humor. He was a sweet and friendly soul, always going out of his way to brighten someone’s day, whether through a heartfelt gift, a kind word, or a warm smile.
Chris will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the Virginia Beach music community. His legacy of love, laughter, and music will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
