Claire Lillian Parker Liebert passed away at home April 8, 2026 in Virginia Beach surrounded by the love of her children and grandchildren. She was the daughter of Charles Alton Parker and Theresa Katherine Bailey Parker of Washington, DC.

Claire was a graduate of St Patrick’s Academy in Washington, DC and the University of Maryland where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Claire retired from Virginia Beach Schools where she taught Home Economics at Kellam and Green Run. Claire was the very proud mother of five children: Susan (West), Mary (Fugere), Karl, Chris, and Daniel, and eight grandchildren. Claire’s family was everything to her and she was happiest when surrounded by them. Claire was pre-deceased by her parents, sister Kathleen, brother Henry, and son, Chris.
