Born in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of the late Clarence F. and Catherine Ludford.
Survivors include wife, Beverly; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jen; grandsons, Cole, Carson and Jase; sister, Sharon and her husband John and Trinise.
Affectionately nicknamed “Bud”, he was well-respected in the community. He loved the outdoors and every living thing. An unassuming man with a gentle soul, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
