Jared just told me of Claudia's death. I am so sorry and send my love. She was so special to me. I can only imagine how much you miss her. I am living in Richmond now in Jill's house caring for her dog. Losing our loved ones is so hard and the time passes it doesn't get easier. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Claudia sent Jill one of her C glass hearts when Jill was battling cancer. It still hangs in the kitchen window above the sink. It makes me think of Jill and now I will think of claudia

Dear Jim and family, I can’t begin to express to you my sadness in hearing this news. I have know Claudia for many years and thankfully have shared many hours with her. Her light was brighter than most and she was a true blessing in my life. One of my favorite stories of her and Jim was traveling two or so years ago to Wolf Trap to see one of our favorite musicians Jeff Beck. We did not travel together but we called and texted each othe before, during, and after the show to share every detain and share our ‘not so subtle’ amazement of the artist and show. I was so envious when she called me during that terribly hot afternoon as I could just make out what must have been the sound check. Man I was so blown away when she said that she and Jim had somehow made it past security and was actually in the venue watching and listening to the sound check!!!! Wow!!!! We often shared our love of music at my second job at Birdland music and over the years I came to know her great love of art and nature and especially of people. I treasured her friendship and will truly miss the light, her light, that she so freely shared with all who came in contact with her. May God bless all of you as you mourn. I rejoice her life and know that He Himself is holding her hand as we speak. Blessings and peace to all, especially you Jim.

I worked with Claudia on a real estate transaction several years ago. She was so kind and funny and caring. She was the seller's/listing agent and I was the buyer's agent but she made the transaction easy and fun. I am so sad to hear of her passing. Praying for peace and comfort to her family and close friends. Sad times.

We were friends with Claudia for a long time and are very saddened by her passing. One of our most fun moments together was the last Jimmy Buffett concert she attended with us at the Amphitheater. She made sure she had plenty of room to dance that night. God bless you, dear lady.
