Connie-lee Guynn (Etzler), 60, passed away at home in Virginia Beach on March 11, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother Mildred Etzler, father William Leon Etzler, and sister Lynn Warfield. She is survived by her daughter Virginia Guynn and husband Steve Alenskis, son Jeremiah Guynn, sister Joan Knickles and husband Don, brother Lee Etzler and wife Larita, caregiver Connie Williams, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A private gathering at the beach will be held in her honor this summer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Virginia Beach SPCA (http://vbspca.com) or Chip Healthy Families (Chesapeake–http://www.chipshr.org/). I remember Connie as a sweet child of 11 or so. She had the most beautiful soft blond hair, and the sweetest smile. I remember running through the pastures at the dairy farm in Maryland with my Etzler cousins, hoping the bull wouldn’t chase us down by the pond. – always Connie’s tinker-bell giggle trailing behind. Rest in peace, Connie, your memory is a smile.

Connilee was my friend, my sister. I never felt like she was a patient. We shared a lot of conversations. She always had her own way of doing things. She would boss Joan an I around, lol. She will be surely missed. She went on in peace and quiet. God rest her soul. I love you, Connielee!!!!
