My friendship with Coralee began through being best friends with her cousin, Nancy Wetherington. I moved away from Norfolk after high school, but, would see Coralee when I came back to visit family and Nancy. I always enjoyed Coralee and admired her. While many of us were "wobbling" around, Coralee always seemed to know where she was headed. She was lovely in all ways and I am so sorry for the loss of her for her family and all those who loved her. Sent with love and care. Martchen Dickson - Cooper/ San Diego, Ca.

May God grant peace and comfort to Coralee’s family and friends. She was my 1st friend. Even though years went by she did not change. Kind, gentle, generous and accepting of others not as gifted as she was. She was a true friend and she is missed. As a child I would think I want to be like Coralee. I still do.

It is with profound sadness that I received the news of my cousin's passing. Coralee was a wonderful person. She was a friend in life, and my mentor in the Thoroughgood Garden Club. She was a wonderful gardener, and so vital in keeping the Thoroughgood House English Gardens in pristine condition. She could always be counted on to do more than asked, and to do it with flare and imagination. I wish peace for Paul, her boys, and grand children in dealing with such a great loss. She went too soon, but those who knew her were blessed to have had her in their life. I know I was.
