Corazon was a devoted cook, working for many years with MWR, a catering company where she shared her love for cooking with many. Her passion for bringing people together over food was matched only by her love for spending time with her family and friends.
A woman of great warmth and kindness, Corazon cherished her role as a loving wife to Paul Lowe, with whom she enjoyed 40 wonderful years of marriage. She was the proud mother of her daughter, Tanisha, and son, Sherwin, and found immense joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family and friends were her greatest treasures, and she dedicated her life to their happiness and well-being.
Corazon is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Patronecio and Fortunata Angoya. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Paul; her children, Tanisha and Sherwin; her cherished grandchildren, Amber, Jaden, Jamal, Mikayla, Samuel and Gabriel; 4 great grandchildren; and her 4 sisters. Their hearts are filled with cherished memories and an unending love that will forever endure.
Though she faced numerous health challenges, including undergoing dialysis and other significant ailments, Corazon’s spirit remained strong and resilient until the end. Her family takes solace in knowing that she is now at peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 3pm at Sweetwater Cuisine, 4216 Virginia Beach Blvd #140, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Friends and family are invited to gather and remember Corazon’s extraordinary life and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
