It is with great sadness that the family of Crystal Carter McConnell announce her sudden passing on Saturday,  August 13, 2022 at the age of 67.

Crystal lived most of her life in Roanoke, Virginia. She graduated from Fleming High School in 1973 and went on to study at the VA Medical Center. She spent many years as a medical assistant doing what she loved most, helping and caring for others.

She was predeceased by her mom – Elsie Carter, father – Perry Carter, and brother – Terry Carter.

Crystal will be dearly missed, forever loved, and always remembered by her son – Brent (Karol) McConnell; grandchildren- Lotus, Lucas, Joshua, and Kaleb;  brother- Michael Carter; sister-n-law – Tammy Carter; nephews – Dustin (Sara) Carter, and Daniel Carter.

A private family service will take place later this year.

Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News assisted the family with arrangements.
