Curtis Emmond Roman, 54, passed away on March 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in New Jersey raised in Middlesex, Virginia, Curtis was known for his strong work ethic, serving for his country, dedication, and unwavering love for his family. For over 20 plus years, he traveled the open roads as a truck driver, finding pride and joy in his career. His time behind the wheel took him across the country, but his heart always remained close to home.
Curtis’s greatest passion was his family. He was a devoted husband , a loving father to eight children also a proud grandfather to thirteen grandchildren. His laughter, wisdom, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Whether it was sharing stories from his travels, or offering words of encouragement,Curtis left a lasting impact on those around him.
He is survived by his beloved wife Mindy Roman. His children Landon Roman-Geirger, Krystal Strouse, Curtis E Roman Jr, Chris Roman, Taylor Bureya, Jazmaine Roman, Skyler Warnick, and Jacob Roman. Thirteen Grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
A celebration of Curtis’ life will be held at Sandy Bottom Nature Park on March 23,2025 at 12pm. Family and friends are welcome to gather in remembrance and honor his remarkable life.
