Cynthia Anne LaRose, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Cynthia lived a life centered on faith, family, kindness and devotion to those she loved. Her entire world was her family, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was a loving mother, , grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth, strength, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.
Cynthia is survived by her Beloved sister, Susan Goslin and Husband David.
Her Children: Wendy Lincoln, Brian Lincoln and wife Juanita, Michael Lincoln and wife Nancy, Laurie Wilson and husband Michael, Lisa Walski and partner, Buddy.
She was a proud Grandmother of Rick, Preston and wife Randi, Tyler and wife Emily, Chase and wife Yana, Sean, and her beloved Great Grandchildren Cody, Talan, Keleigh, Finley, Alex and Waylon.
And several Nephew an d Nieces.
She was predeceased by her Father, Henry (Bopo), her Mother, Anna, her Sister Karen, her Brother Bruce, her sister-in-law Colleen, her beloved Granddaughter Heather, and two son’s in law Shawn and Donnie.
She also leaves behind, her dear lifetime friend, Polly Greene, whose friendship was a treasured part of her life.
Cynthia’s legacy is one of unconditional love, dedication to family, and a generous heart. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Cynthia’s life will be held on July 10, 2026 at 10:30am St. Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 69 Groton Long Point Rd, Groton, Ct 06340. Interment will follow to Elm Grove Cemetery, 197 Greenmanville Ave, Mystic, Ct 06355.
Though she is no longer with us in body, Cynthia’s love, wisdom, and her memory will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
