Cyrus Eastman Phillips IV, 73, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017, born to the late Cyrus Eastman Phillips III and Sue Elspeth Irving, in Charlottesville, VA.
Shortly his family moved to Warsaw, Il where he was raised.
In 1962, Cyrus graduated from Warsaw High School, he went on to graduate with his B. A. from the University of Illinois, then continued his education by graduating from The J.D. Marshall – Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1968.
Mr. Phillips practiced law that was concerning government acquisitions, as well as being appointed Administrative Judge in 1980, and then in November 1986 went on to practice with various law firms throughout his career.
Cyrus had a career that spanned over 40 years that he truly loved. He was a member of many Bar Associations and was very well respected for his intelligence, and was endeared for his genuine love for his basset hounds.
Cyrus’ memory is left to be cherished by his loving wife, Lois Ehrlich. He is also survived by four children; Cyrus Phillips V, Kathryn Crowger, William Phillips, and Susan Phillips Kane, and grandson; Hunter Crowger.
