David “Dave” Crossett, 86, passed away on Sept 13, 2016. He was born in Herkimer County NY to the late John and Mary Crossett. Dave was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Vickers Crossett and his 4 siblings.

He moved his family to Norfolk in 1959, while working for Remington Rand as a computer repair technician. Prior to this, Dave worked on the family dairy farm, was employed as an auto mechanic and then served in the US Marine Corps.   He was a long time member of the Roosevelt Gardens Civic League and was an usher at St Pius X Catholic Church. Dave was known in his community as a gardener and mechanic “who could fix anything”. He gladly shared his vegetables and provided assistance to neighbors and friends.

Dave is survived by his daughter Kimberly Hundley & husband Ron, son David & wife Jennifer, and his 4 grandchildren June & Julie Hundley, Kain & John Crossett.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated and during private memorials his ashes will be spread on the family farm upstate NY.
