Dave was my chief while stationed onboard USS Kalamazoo. After several years, we reconnected after talking to a friend of his who helped reunite us. Dave had a great personality and was a true leader and I am saddened to hear of his passing.

David was a character with a great sense of humor. I spoke with him this past March and although frail, still had a ready smile and kind words. My sincere condolences to his children, grandchildren and partner Betty.
