David “Dave” E Kellam Jr, 59, passed away suddenly January 12, 2023 in Virginia Beach.

After attending Elon College, he worked in the family businesses, Princess Anne Plumbing and Kellam and Eaton. After closing, Dave transitioned into self-employment with Kellam Plumbing. Dave never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. He was known to be adventurous during his younger years and never lost his spirit. His gifts of storytelling, humor, variety of knowledge and love of life will always be treasured.

Dave is predeceased by his father David Kellam and sister, Catherine.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tyler Wilson (Doug); son, David Kellam III; grandchildren, Kadyn, Madison and Preston Wilson. He cherished his time with his grandchildren, who lovingly called him “Tudee”. He is also survived by his mother, Susan Kellam; brother, John; his nieces; a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to share happy memories and celebrate Dave’s life in a way he would want to be remembered. A special tribute will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2-4pm at 327 Woodleigh Road, Knotts Island, NC.
