Continue ReadingDebra Lynn Byers, 60, of Smithfield, VA, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015. A longtime resident of Hampton Roads, Debra spent most of her life in Hampton and Virginia Beach, finally settling in Smithfield with her husband, Earl L. Byers, II.
Debra graduated from Pembroke High School. Her passion for health and wellness led her to pursue a career as a Certified Health Coach. She was also a realtor and member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association. In her free time, Debra enjoyed health-conscious activities including snow skiing and walking. She was also a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and aunt. She will be dearly missed by her family, step-family, and friends.
Left to cherish Debra’s memory is her husband, Earl L. Byers, II; parents, Roland and Barbara Roberts; siblings, Michael L. Roach (Susan), David C. Roberts (Ann), and Cheryl M. Roebuck; children, Tamra Lynn Ducceschi (Brian) and Amanda R. Malbon (Ryan); grandchildren Riley Stiles, Cameron Ducceschi, Austin Ducceschi, Tyler Ducceschi, Skylar Malbon and Caden Malbon; and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held in Debra’s honor at Harvest Fellowship Church in Smithfield, VA, on Saturday, October 17 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Debra’s memory to Harvest Fellowship Church, 19290 Battery Park Rd., Smithfield, VA 23430.
