We are sad to announce that Diane Hampton Scholz, 88 years old, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away on January 26^th, 2024 after a six-month battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones. Diane’s parents were Dorothy C. Hampton and William A. Hampton of Gothenberg, Nebraska.  She is survived by her loving husband, John C. Scholz; three daughters, and their husbands; seven grandchildren; and her beloved sister, Karin Krzeczowski. Diane traveled the world with her parents and husband of 66 years who were both career Army officers.  She was an accomplished knitter and loved to crochet and play tennis and golf.

The date and time of a ceremony to celebrate her life has yet to be determined.
