Dominick J. Musacchio, 92 passed away peacefully on April 8, 2011.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Antonio and Lucia Musacchio.
Dominick retired from both the U.S. Navy and the Norfolk Naval Air Rework Facility.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth B. Musacchio. Survivors also include a sister Nora Ingrasano of New York; brother Joseph Musacchio and wife Joan of Brooklyn. Also left to cherish his memory are son Donald J. Musacchio and wife Judy of Norfolk; daughter Jo-Ann Woodland and husband Neil of Dallas, Texas; and son Mark A. Musacchio of Norfolk.
“Pop-Pop” will especially be missed by grandchildren Amy Kapa and husband Greg, Kenneth Musacchio, Megan Musacchio and Conner Musacchio; and great grandchildren Alex, Benjamin and Cameron Kapa and Grayson Musacchio.
A private ceremony will be held for the immediate family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
