Freda and Hannah, I'm sure you both know how much we all enjoyed Don. I remember when working together, he was very kind, especially when I didn't know what I was doing. He would fix it, or explain it, or whatever needed doing, and at the same time teach me, but never condescending. We all have found memories to look back on. I hope you find comfort in knowing how respected he was and that now he is at peace.
Dear Freda & Hannah,
Donnie & I use to walk to school together in Richmond, MO. He was always so nice to me. I asked our teacher, Mrs. Merrifield, if a right angle could go left which made all the class laugh and confirmed I wasn't to be a mathematician. Donnie was real cute about this and couldn't wait to tell my grandmother who had taught college math.I have some real fond memories of Donnie, who was always a gentleman, very bright and most creative. I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
So sorry to hear of Donald's passing! He was always one of the nicest people in our class, very friendly and pleasant to all! My sympathy to his family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I haven't seen him since we graduated, but I will remember him always. Such a very nice person.
Our prayers are with the family. So sorry to hear this.
Just being around Donald made school more enjoyable. I believe his personality brought out the best in those whose lives he touched. I will miss Don. My condolences to his loved ones.
Freda and Hannah, We were good friends with Don in high school and got to spent some time with him on one of his visits back to Missouri. Sorry to hear of his passing. The family will be in our prayers.
I have not seen Don since high school Richmond MO, class of 1963, but I remember him clearly as an intelligent, likable, and "classy" young man. I'm sure he contributed greatly to the quality of life of not only his family, but his friends as well.
Dear Freda and Hannah,
We too are sad that Don departed our lives so early. But his spirit lives on in our memories. My first memory of Don was his getting jugs and filling them with fresh water so we would have water rather than bought drinks to enjoy during the Nicholas reunion. I was impressed. May we continue this healthy tradition in his honor.

Fredia and Hannah, Don was a great person. He spent many a night with us while visting Mo.We had a lot of wonderful talks. He will be missed.
Dear Freda and Hannah,
My heart breaks for you with the death of Don, your husband and dad. It's trite to say that time heals, it just dulls the senses. The girls and I still think of Peter everyday and will always grieve his early demise - just like Don. You will be amazed at how you can "soldier on" by holding memories of him close to your heart. We are so sorry for your loss and are thinking about you during this difficult time and always. Love, Lynne, Jean, Claire and Allison
We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Freda and Hannah,
Your network of friends is wider than you may think. My thoughts and prayers and those of my family are with you both.

How could I have forgotten - and doing crossword puzzles!
I'm thinking Don is somewhere pleasant, eating french fries, watching movies and riding roller coasters!
We are sad that my Patricia only cousin has died especially at such a young age. I had no idea that we shared a love of animals.
Freda & Hannah,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Don was a good friend over the years, and although i haven't had much contact recently, I still have fond memories.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
