Donald Franklin Beazley

Littleton, NC ~ Donald Franklin Beazley passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, surrounded by loving family and friends.

He is survived by 3 children, Cheryl Beazley LaPine (Bill), Nancy Beazley Wehrman (Steve), David Beazley (Kathleen), 2 grandchildren, Jordan Beazley Wolfred and Ryan Sterling Beazley, and beloved family friend, Carol Lindley.

He was an active member of Littleton United Methodist Church. During his retirement years, he was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and Commander of Flotilla 93. He also served as president of the Lake Gaston Water Safety Council, treasurer and board member of the Lake Gaston Association, and treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of John 3:16 and the Wildwood Point Homeowner’s Association.

He is predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Sue Ratcliffe Beazley.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on May 9, at Littleton United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please visit www.john316center.org to make donations in Don’s memory.

We have so many wonderful memories from the time Don and Sue came to our wedding in 2007, their stay with Fitz and Ann at our house on Sanibel Island, to our visits to his home on Lake Gaston. Very interesting to talk with and listen to. Thinking of you all. Sending love.

May his memory be a blessing. I always enjoyed visiting with Uncle Don and family wherever you lived, but especially at the beautiful lake lot. It was always so peaceful and relaxing there with ya’ll. I cherish these memories of time with family, though they were few and far between.

I am holding all of you close in my heart. My uncle’s life touched so many, and his memory will live on through each of you. Wishing you comfort, strength, and moments of peace as you navigate this loss together.
