Don is survived by his wife of 67 years, Midge, 4 children Dick Connie, Becky Robert, Donna David, Allan Donna and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on October 29 at 2pm at the VFW Post 8545, 223 Washington St., Smithfield, VA 23430. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don’s memory to the VFW Post 8545, P.O. Box 461, Smithfield, VA 23431. Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family.
