I am saddened to learn of Don's passing. We worked together at QED for many years. Don was a true professional. His work and contribution to the company was unmatched in dedication and loyalty. We shared many stories about people we jointly respected and admired. I regret that knowing Don at work did not give me the opportunity to get to know his family. To his wife, Laura and the entire family please accept my most sincere condolences on your loss. Please accept my apology for missing the memorial service today. I misread the obituary and went to the wrong church. It was too late to correct my error and attend. I wanted to attend and express my condolences to the family in person. I will miss Don but not as the family. May the Good Lord bless all of you and shower you with his love and strength.

I deeply respected Don. He and I worked together closely in the proposal department at QED for a few years. He was such a thinker. He exemplified logical methodology and quick wit in everything he did. He was an excellent communicator. He could explain anything clearly and on a level of intelligence that is matched by few. He always was ready to laugh at my jokes and I could make him really crack up sometimes. When I couldn't figure something out, he would help. Always, he would help. He always had time to make something happen. That department was no joke, hard work, long hours and the stress level. Wow, possibly the most stressful deadline oriented position I have ever held. I loved and respected Don. He sure did live a full life and I feel truly grateful that I knew him. My condolences to you Laura and to your family. If there is ever anything I can help you with please let me know. 757-858-7023. Love, Yvonne
