Donna Harris Bilby, 63, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 in Norfolk, Virginia peacefully in her sleep.  Donna was born October 6, 1960 to Thomas and Gladys Harris in Norfolk, Virginia.  She graduated from Maury High School in 1979.  After graduation she worked for the City of Norfolk as a groundskeeper for a short period, but then left the workforce to focus on taking care of her children.  When she did reenter the workforce she worked various jobs in the customer service field.

Donna lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was known for her love of classic TV shows and movies, music, and dancing.

What will be missed the most is the fact that she never met a stranger and would share a hello – maybe more, a smile, and a laugh with anyone who crossed her path, touching the lives of many with her kindness and compassion.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children Diana (Daniel) and Daniel (Eva); granddaughters Hannah, Samantha, Joeniva, Tatiana, and Emily; sister Tommie (Robert) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

In honoring Donna’s memory, a celebration of life and ash scattering ceremony will be held at a later date.
