VIRGINIA BEACH — Edith Baker, 90, passed away October 29, 2011, in the hospital.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph E. Baker, her parents, John and
Mary Cook, and 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Sandra Wiley and husband Ward, and Sharon Tarkenton. Affectionately known to them as “Gaggy”, she is also survived by her three granddaughters: Andrea Scott and husband Ricky, Kimberly Ogle and husband Michael, and Kristin Felts and husband Travis; and 5 great-grandchildren, who were the delight of her life: Garrett, Kayla, Abby, Brooke, and Cohen. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 11, at 10:30 am at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rescue Station 2- Davis Corner, 4672 Haygood Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23455.
