Edward A. Painter, Jr., 25, of Chesapeake passed away on October 24, 2020. Eddie was a warm, smart, funny, handsome, loving young soul who was lost to us way too soon. He will be deeply missed by the many loved ones and friends who were drawn to his unique, animated spirit and bright smiling face. He had a wide cheeky grin and sparkling eyes like no other, that brought joy to those around him, even from his earliest years. His big heart and contagious laughter touched many of us and have left an empty place in our hearts. His wonderful humor and high energy was one of the many qualities that made him special that we will truly miss.
Eddie loved music, games, dogs, movies, books and was always eager to engage in conversations and boyish clowning with those around him.
Eddie had his share of mistakes, however was always there for those who needed him and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. His dynamic spark and dimpled grin reminded us so much of his beautiful mother Shelley, whom we have mourned the loss of for the last 8 years, to the day. Through our many tears and prayers, we find comfort in knowing they are now together and at peace. We also take comfort that Eddie was at home and surrounded by love when he took his last breath.
Eddie’s caring spirit and sweet face will be in our hearts forever, as we try to heal with his tragic loss.
