Edward Mahlon Cleck (Eddie) 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at his Newport News home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

Eddie was born on October 4, 1947 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Charles Cleck and Helen Westfall.

Eddie was a Military Veteran of the US Army where he served for four years. He spent an additional two years in the Reserves. He then worked forty plus years in the restaurant industry until his retirement. In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband and father, Eddie also enjoyed cooking, drawing, and gardening.

Eddie joins his parents Helen and Jack Westfall, Charles and Janet Cleck, and siblings, Ruby and Hurl in Heaven. Eddie is survived by his wife Pamela, son Brian (Amber), daughter Angela, granddaughter Kendyl, and siblings; Jackie (Billy), Jack (Lynn), Janice, Gayle (Rick), Gary (Gwen), Jeanne (Tom), Wendy (Rusty), Michael (Penny).

An intimate celebration of life with military honors will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations for Parkinson’s research would be appreciated.
