Eileen McMillen Reed, age 89, died peacefully on March 2, 2011 in Virginia Beach. She leaves her two sons, Thomas and wife Kathleen, Kenneth and companion Sandra Hunt, a daughter Deborah Reed Soroka, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Husband Richard Reed and father and mother, Charles McMillen and Bertha Ward McMillen, preceded her in death. Eileen served with the US Navy Wavs during World War II and was a member of the First Singing Platoon. She also was a life member of Morning Light Chapter # 80 of the Eastern Star. Internment will follow a private service at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, Ohio. Donations may be made to Youth Activities, Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., Kinsman, Ohio 44428.
