Chesapeake- Elizabeth Albright Hunt, 75, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2018.  She was born on August 11, 1942 to the late Harold and Lola Albright.  Her brother Chris, husband Arnie, and great-nephew Jeremy preceded her in death.

A beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, and nannie, she was a 1960 graduate of Oscar Smith, and retired from Sentara Healthcare.

She is survived by her sister, Diane Snead; daughters, Cindy Hunt and Debbie (Mike) Roberts; son Brian (Heather) Hunt; grandchildren Wyville, Jason, Jessica, Chad, and Hannah; great-granddaughter Mariah, niece Julie; and a large and loving extended family.  We miss her dearly but take comfort in knowing that her heart and soul now ring out in joy to the Lord.

A celebration of life service will be held Tues, May 1, 2018 11:00am at the Chesapeake Chapel of Altmeyer Funeral Home 929 S. Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322. Cremation Society of Virginia is handling the services. Online condolences may be expressed at vacremationsociety.com.

Liz Hunt was a very special person and touched many life's. She was like a second mother to me growing up. She was my brownie and girl scout leader. She was the cool mom who would dance with us when American Bandstand came on. Threw the Christmas Party for us when we were in the 10th grade and she was always someone you could talk to and would keep it confidential. And when Cindy and I were old enough, we had our first beer with Liz (or so Liz thought it was our first beer) She was a beautiful soul who loved her family. I will always remember her beautiful smile and laugh. Cindy, Debbie, Brian and to all of the family I will keep you in my prayers. Love to you!
