Dear Barbara and Nanci, I can't think back in my childhood without remembering your family. Your mother was a great storyteller and I always looked forward to her tales of you two and other of her various adventures when we went to Highlands for our summer vacation. A visit from the three of you together made it extra special. She had a wonderful 92 years, especially in her later years because she was close to both of you. With fond memories, Terri Fleming Blalock

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I will always have fond memories of you mom. She had a great sense of humor and was just a lot of fun to be around. Over the years I have often thought of her and wondered how she was doing. I remember the family times in Highlands and wish we could do it all again. I know from my mom that she was enjoying being with her children in Va. Beach. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Denise

Dear Barbara and Nansi, So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She had many friends and we all will miss her for her unique sense of humor and her love of life. When I think back I can see her sitting on the sofa in Highlands knitting and talking about her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly and would do anything for. I have a plate that was painted by your mom in one of my bedrooms and I bet she painted it in china painting class in Highlands with my mom. They were quit a pair together. I feel blessed to have known your mother . I hope you both know how much she was loved. Barbara and Nansi you are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. I hope you will keep in touch.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Nansi, I am glad to have known your mother. Terry and I were able to be with her and talk to her several times together. She was delightful and spirited. I will always remeber that accent. I know you will always miss her and you were certainly a caring daughter. Love, Janet Capps
