Continue ReadingElizabeth Farley Braithwaite of Virginia Beach died on November 30, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband, Forbes Braithwaite, and her brother, Charles Farley. She was a charter member, officer, and helped form the Virginia Beach Legal Secretaries Association. She was a former officer of the Virginia Association of Legal Secretaries. She was a charter member in the State of Virginia of the National Association of Legal Assistants.
Survivors include her son, Phillip E. McAdams, Jr. (Cindy); stepdaughter, Ashley B. Davis (Jay); granddaughters: Hunter, Sydney, and Bailey Davis, all of Virginia Beach; brother, Frederick K. “Boots” Farley (Bonnie) of Hanover Park, IL; and sister, Susan M. Farley of Virginia Beach.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk SPCA or the Virginia Beach SPCA.
