Elizabeth Ann Spaseff, 27, of Commodore Drive, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 5, 2015.
She was born on April 5, 1988, a daughter of Mark and Cindy Ramer of Sunbury, PA and Andrew Spaseff of Steelton, PA. On June 7, 2008 she married Matthew Iacoboni. She was a 2006 graduate of Shikellamy High School in Sunbury and a 2010 graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI with a BA in Food Service Management with a minor in Baking and Pastry Arts.
Elizabeth or Liz as most of her friends knew her, was a caring and compassionate young woman who would help anyone in need. If she wasn’t giving hugs and words of encouragement, she was feeding you and making sure you had a place to rest your head. Even now she is helping others in need as an organ donor.
Liz was an avid shopper, always looking for that bargain. Yard sales and thrift stores were her favorite places to shop. Liz was also a member of the Seven Cities L.A.R.P. Troupe. She enjoyed role-playing games and also enjoyed feeding her friends. No one went home hungry.
Her two greatest joys were her family and baking. If you asked her what her favorite creation was, she would have said her daughter, Katherine Scarlett (Katie) who was born Liz is survived by her 4 brothers, George and Phillip Spaseff of Hershey PA, Christopher Studney of Mechanicsburg, PA and Jonathan Ramer of California and her sister, Amber Jones of Sunbury, PA. Also are her 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Her grandparents, Effie Spaseff of Steelton, PA, Bruce and Gladys Ticknor and Benjamin Fisher, all of Sunbury, PA.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a “GoFundMe” account set up in memory of Elizabeth to help offset medical expenses and set up a college fund for Katie. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
