Elsa dedicated over two decades of her professional life to working in accounting for the Naval Exchange, where she was known for her diligence and commitment. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Elsa was a woman of deep Christian faith, which guided her throughout her life. Her spirituality was a source of strength and comfort, not only for herself but also for those around her. She was a beacon of kindness and compassion, embodying the virtues she held dear.

Elsa’s greatest joy came from her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them, offering love, wisdom, and warmth. Her nurturing spirit and gentle guidance left an indelible mark on their lives.

She is survived by her parents and her devoted husband of 25 years, José Peña; her children, Alberto Burgos and Priscilla Flores; and her treasured grandchildren, Gabriella Green, Caleb Green, Amir Burgos, and Abel Blankenship. Elsa also leaves behind many siblings, extended relatives, and a wide circle of friends who will miss her dearly.

Titi Elsa was such a kind and loving person who brought so much joy to everyone around her. I loved her dearly, and I already miss her so so much. Rest in peace Titi, I love you.

My sincerest condolences to Elsa’s family. Elsa was so much more than a NEXCOM co-worker, she was my friend. We shared long conversations filled with laughter and tears. I was blessed to be able to spend quality time with her over the years and during her last days, whether we were talking or me singing, praying and reading the Bible to her. She will always hold a special place in my heart, with her gentle smile and soft laughter. I know the dream she had is now her reality surrounding her with joy, laughter, peace and no more pain. I will truly miss my dear friend. Love and smooches

It's only been a week since you left, and already the world feels quieter without you in it. I keep catching myself thinking of things I want to tell you, little stories, updates, or just to hear your voice say something warm and familiar. You were more than a grandmother to me. You were a source of love, wisdom, and comfort. Your laughter, your hugs, your stories, they’re all a part of me now, woven into the way I see the world and how I try to treat others. Thank you for loving me the way you did, so fully and unconditionally. I miss you deeply, but I carry you with me. in my heart, in my thoughts, and in everything good I try to do. I hope you knew how much you meant to me, and how much you always will. I love you grandma.
