After many years of service to Jehovah God, Emmaline D. Mitchell, 64, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 and now patiently waits on God’s Kingdom. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother and sister. Emmaline worked as a nurse’s aide for home healthcare and she was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved to spread the word of God and to take walks with her husband. She was a proud and loving mother and grandmother.
Emmaline is survived by her husband, Early L. Mitchell; her children Howard D. Nelson Cooke, Jacinta M. Cooke, and Darlene Mitchell; her siblings Ementle D. Robinson and Delia E. Taylor (Ronnie); grandchildren J’aira Alston, Terry Alston, Gregory Alston, Akeen Hicks, Janiah Cooke, DaShawn Bandy, Jalen Bandy, Arriya Mitchell, and Serenity Mitchell; and host of nieces and nephews.
A service will be held in Emmaline’s memory on Saturday, March 4 at 12pm noon at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2811 Victoria Blvd., Hampton, VA 23661.
