Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Ransome and his “PawPaw” Willis Morgan.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Judy Ransome Newberry; his sisters, Tara Shows and Tiffanie Ransome and their mother, Margaret Johnson; his “MaMaw” Hattie Morgan and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1380 N. Mallory Street, Hampton, VA. Cremation Society of Virginia assisted the family with arrangements.

I ,was saddened to hear that Shannon had passed away. I can only imagine the pain his mother Judy, and the Morgan family are going through. The days ahead will be tough but take solace in the fact that you all enjoyed your son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend for 45years, and you have so many wonderful memories to look back on. God doesn't make mistakes, so he must have needed another Angel, so he called Shannon home. It was a real pleasure knowing Shannon for 35years, and I was proud to call him my nephew.
