Eva Vincent Beasley passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home in Shacklesfords, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Maude Vincent; brothers, Johnny, Charles, and Clifton; sisters, Betty and Pat; and loving daughter-in-law, Sue.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Joe, of almost 50 years (June 8, 2024); her children, Dana (Tarelle), Michael, Cathy (Scott); grandchildren, Camille, Riley, Lexi (Ethan), Kyleigh, Nicolas, Rebecca; great grandchildren, Lyla, Ella, Kayla, Alyssa, Bella; sisters, Jeanette, Red, Bertha; and brother, Lyman Ray.

She was a lover of animals and enjoyed time with her family cooking and caring for them. Her closest family always looked forward to her amazing weekend breakfasts, her fried potatoes were second to none! She never met a stranger and was kind to everyone, but maintained her feisty spirit that we all knew and loved, until the end. Simply put, to know her was to love her. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The family would like to send special thanks to her neighbors, Pete and Barb, who were considered a part of the family. Special thanks also go to Riverside Hospice; notably, Clark RN, Jennifer, and Tanya. The kindness and care shown during this difficult time was extended to the family as well and became a comfort that carried us through her last days.
