Chesapeake- After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Fausto Ricra, 85, passed away peacefully to be with his Lord on March 24, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Melania Ricra, his 3 children, daughters Maria, and Carmen Hoffman (Gene), son Michael (Deanna) and his 2 beloved grandsons Ryan and Jarod Hoffman. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Josephine Oscco, 2 brothers Marcial and Luis, a sister Elisa and many loving nieces and nephews in New Jersey and Peru. Born in Lima, Peru, Fausto emigrated to the United States in 1964 and proudly became a US citizen in 1981. After 30 years, he retired from Horowitz & Sons Bookbinding Co. in New Jersey and moved to Chesapeake, Virginia 20 years ago to care for his 2 grandsons who completely captured his heart and love. His family was dear and precious to Fausto, and he will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
