Faye Ann Boswell passed away peacefully in Virginia Beach on December 10, just 20 days short of turning 94. Ann was predeceased by her loving husband of almost 50 years Cdr. Robert G. Boswell USNR (Ret.). Ann lived a full and fruitful life spending the greatest part of it with her “West Coast” daughters in and around Murieta, Paradise and Oroville California and the latest part with her “East Coast “daughters in Richmond and Virginia Beach.
Ann, sometimes known as Faye, was born in Glenrock, Wyoming, after which she moved to California with her parents Harry and Faye Pedersen and brothers Robert and Don. Ann was the last of these to pass. She graduated from Pasadena High School and studied at Pasadena Junior College.
Left to cherish her memories are her four daughters, Robin Meekins, Cindy Riedlinger, Lorri Walborn and Sherry Rausch, and their respective husbands Sam, Charlie, Ralph and Dennis. Ann is “Nana” to 7 grandchildren and “Super Nana” to 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Ann is also survived by Cdr. Boswell’s two daughters, Carol and Jackie, and their families.
