Frances J. Landers – Norfolk

Frances Jean Landers, 92, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Charles H. Landers. Jean is the mother of six children: Chuck Landers and his wife Susan of Suffolk, Virginia; Peggy Dixon of Norfolk, Virginia; Pastor David Landers and his wife Judy of Rising Sun, Maryland; Tim Landers and his wife Carol of Chesapeake, Virginia; Jim Landers of Orlando, Florida; and John Landers and his wife Debbie of Eustis, Florida. Jean also has 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Our family would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the kindness and support of mom’s many friends during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the staff at Lake Taylor Transitional Care for their exceptional care of our mother.
