Frances Louise Tibbutt, 101, passed away on May 16, 2021, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was born in Eugene, Oregon to Frank and Deuie Jones.

She attended Oregon State University where she met and married her now deceased husband of over 50 years, Theodore Tibbutt. He was employed by the Agency for International Development and together they traveled and lived in many interesting countries. She particularly enjoyed her volunteer work with the American Red Cross during those years and she was known as an incredible cook and hostess. She loved animals and was an avid golf fan.

She was the much loved mother to her daughter, Sara Glover, who will always cherish and be grateful for the countless good times they had throughout her many years. She will be greatly missed by her close friends and loving caregivers at the Waterford and will remain forever in all of our hearts. A graveside service will be held later in the summer.
