Franklin Frank E. Tollison, 82, passed away unexpectedly January 13, 2011. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, he was the loyal son of Reverend O.H. & Ruth Tollison who last resided in Central, SC. He is survived by his loving wife Peggy of 62 years; and son Mark of Denver, CO. Additionally, he is survived by his two brothers, James of Central, SC and Wayne of Greenwood, MS.
Frank retired as a co-owner of Friedman Welding after 15 years of dedicated service and there after as a co-founder of Peele and Tollison Piano Warehouse after another 17 years of happily working with his best friend Charles P. Peele.
Frank was an active member of the Norview Lodge No 113, the Scottish Rife and the Khedive Shrine. He enjoyed his life, family & friends and especially enjoyed fresh water fishing.
The family will celebrate his life at a later date with relatives and friends in South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the IVA Church of God, PO Box 774, Iva, SC 29655. Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family.
